THE LATINO EFFECT
The Hispanic population of Fredericksburg, Virginia has tripled in the past six years. Latinos move into suburban Virginia in search of work, cheaper housing and safer neighborhoods. Their presence is changing the way the community looks and feels.
These pictures are part of a series produced for The Free Lance-Star newspaper in Fredericksburg exploring the Latino community and introducing the new residents to their Virginia neighbors.
