MARCH 2009 - I am a guest lecturer at the conference "Towards a Better Latin America" at University of Virginia, Charlottesville and The Hoffman Lecture in Sociology and Social Policy" at Russell Sage College in Troy, NY My work is accepted into Review Santa Fe, the premiere juried portfolio review event in the United States.

SEPTEMBER 2008 Photographs appear in the book "Democratic National Convention 2008: Obama's Mile High Moment" by The Denver Post. Selected to be a judge in the Virginia Press Women Communications Contest, 2009

June 2008 - I left a position as a staff photographer at The Charlotte Observer newspaper in North Carolina to live in beautiful Colorado. During my time at the Observer I had the privilege of working with a great team of reporters selected as finalists for the 2008 Gold Medal for The Pulitzer Prize in Public Service for a series the on foreclosures entitled: Sold a Nightmare.
